I am in the process of expanding this page in the near future. I have been using a Bushnell Trophy Cam for a couple of years to try and find out what is happening after dark at various sites and also to check on activity near the hide during the year. These 'field cameras' are used by wildlife cameramen to acertain animal movements before setting up hides. They were used extensively on a BBC programme about tigers in Nepal/India. Hopefully(!) over a period of time I will post further clips especially of mammals. So just to start.........


A recent addition - my garden hedgehog!


Having put a hedgehog home in the garden in the hope that he/she will use it to hibernate, the first stage looks good with an evening spent gathering leaves!


I am hoping that he has spent the night in the home!





Having acquired a Canon 7D that has the capability to shoot movies I will be including some clips from my hide/shed.
